Simple White Wine Spritzer
A delicious and refreshing dry wine cocktail that is only around 120 calories.
- 4 ounces (120 ml) dry white wine
- 2 ounces (60 ml) club soda or mineral water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon or lime wedge
Directions: Pour white wine into tall glass and top with club soda/mineral water. Stir. Add ice cubes. Squeeze juice from lemon or lime wedge into glass, then drop fruit into glass before serving. If sweeter version is desired, substitute Sprite, 7-Up or other sweet soda for club soda/mineral water.
Kir (White Wine with Cassis)
A classic wine drink from France. Great as an apperitif before dinner or to relax with on a lazy afternoon.
- ¼ ounce (8 ml) Crème de Cassis
- 3 ounces (90 ml) of dry white wine
Directions: Pour Crème de Cassis in wine glass and then top with chilled white wine. Any white wine will work as long as it is not too oaky tasting.
